Link of the Week - Dance View Times
Based on the US East Coast, Dance View Times has been running since 2003, but it really shifted up a gear in 2007. Over the years, it has featured an incredible roster of writers, including John Percival, Horst Koegler, Mary Cargill, Rita Felciano, Gia Kourlas, David Vaughan and Leigh Witchel, to name just a few - see the website for more.

As you will see, it’s an unshowy website (very unshowy indeed) with no social media presence and next to no visibility in search engines. Its subhead is ‘Writers on Dancing,’ and it is as unadorned as that. It is very much a site you have to know about and remember to visit.
Dance View Times was founded by Alexandra Tomalonis, who sadly passed away in April 2023. With her loss, it seems to be doing less and currently has no named editor. You can find more about Alexandra, who also founded the important Ballet Alert! forum, here and here. Her legacy is important and should not be forgotten.
